We are beyond excited to announce that Little Compton Fire Department has been awarded $97,429 to replace our Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, also known as SCBA or Air Packs. The grant was written by one of our firefighter with assistance from the Chief. This is the second year in a row that LCFD has successfully written an Assistance to Firefighters Grant. Thank you to Sen. Jack Reed and our congressional Delegates for their continued support of the fire service in the state of Rhode Island! A total of $4.2 Million was awarded to the State of RI.
