In the midst of all the commotion of the generator fire, we also had the Pumps on Engine 2 and Tanker 1 tested. Thankfully they all passed and are all set for another year! The unfortunate thing is while attempting to draft (draw water from a water source) at Pond Bridge, we found the hydrant stuffed with trash. Incidents like this can cause a significant delay in us accessing water. We also pulled out a bundle of fishing line out of the pump intake. Please be courteous of our hydrants through out town and dispose of your trash properly!
