| On February 25th, LCFD was alerted to a possible brush fire. Tanker 1, Forestry 1, and car 2 responded and once on scene confirmed that they had a working brush fire. Units worked quickly and efficiently to mitigate the hazard and extinguish the fire.
Just a reminder to always call the fire station before you burn to obtain a burning permit. Also, please make sure that the area you are burning in is a safe distance from any combustible materials or objects, such as your house, piles of wood, high grass, etc.
