LCFD was fortunate enough to have a homeowner in town donate an old barn on their property for training. Today, along with our mutual aid partners, we ignited the building and ran several training evolutions. This took a lot of planning and it went very smooth! Thank you to Tiverton FD, Portsmouth FD, Middletown FD, Westport FD (MA), Warren FD, and Bristol FD for their assistance at this training! The evolutions included rural water supply, exposure protection, fire behavior, and smoke patterns. Thank you to all our members, and to LCPD #10 who obtained pictures of the training evolutions.
