As many may have heard, LCFD and LC EMA (Emergency Management Agency), will be working with Tiverton Fire Dept & Tiverton EMA to administer vaccines to the public. Today we spent time organizing supplies and equipment for the POD. Starting Thursday, 2/18, we will begin administering vaccines to the general public 75 and older. The State, through the Federal government, has allotted 20 vaccines doses per a week for Little Compton. Today, we also received notification from the state that we will be receiving 40 vaccines a week. Members of LCFD have been calling and scheduling appointments for the upcoming PODs. We remain hopefully that going forward we will continue to receive an increase in the amount of vaccines allotted for our community. We ask that you remain patient and wait for us to reach out to those eligible for the vaccine. As we posted a not long ago, we will be using the Registered voters list, starting with the oldest residents. If you have a family member that may not be listed on the Voter roll, please reach out to us at info@littlecomptonfirerescue.com to notify us that you have an eligible family member.

As the amount of allotted vaccines increase, the process for registering for the vaccine may change. We ask that you follow LCFD website or other social media outlets for updates. We will be doing our best to keep the public up to date with the proper information.
