Anytime a new hire comes through the door, that means its time to train...train....train. Having no hydrants in LC means that mastering the skill of drafting is one of our most important firefighting tasks. Earlier this week we had the opportunity to train with Tiverton FD and Portsmouth FD. Both departments are on the Mutual Aid run card for working fires in Little Compton. PFF Hughes and other Probationary Firefighters from Portsmouth FD had the chance to flow some water from portable tanks, and hone their skills with Tanker Operations and Rural Water Supply.
