Senator Jack Reed was in town yesterday and stopped by to visit. We were able to show him the new equipment that we obtained through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Federal Program through FEMA. Senator Reed is a huge helping hand in obtaining these grants. In the last 5 years LCFD has acquired over $250,000 through the AFG Program. Thank you for the visit Senator and thank you for your commitment to the Fire service in our state!
