On July 5th, LCFD responded to area of Long Highway just south of Snell Rd for report of a MVA. Crews arrived on scene to find a single vehicle accident. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The road was temporarily shut down while crews cleared debris from the roadway. Rhode Island Energy was notified and dispatched a crew to replace the utility pole. Vehicle occupant was self extricated, and declined medical treatment.
