On May 9th, LCFD responded to West Main Rd for report of a brush fire. Upon arrival fire crews observed fire burning along a fence line caused by a downed powerline. National Grid was notified and dispatched personnel to secure power in the area. Once power to the line was secured the fire was extinguished by fire department personnel, and utility crews repaired the downed powerline.
