On Tuesday December 5, 2023, the LCFD was dispatched to the area of Meetinghouse Lane and The Commons for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival crews found a single vehicle left the roadway and struck the stonewall in front of The Brownell House. The vehicle came to rest on top of the wall. The vehicle operator was self-extricated from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
