On Wednesday February 7, 2024, The LCFD was dispatched to Pottersville Rd for a possible structure fire, smoke reported coming from the eaves. Upon arrival, Fire Dept confirmed a working structure fire and relayed to dispatch to activate the East Bay Tanker Task Force. The fire was quickly brought under control, however extensive overhaul was required to chase hotspots throughout the structure. Mutual aid provided by Tiverton, Westport, Portsmouth, Bristol, Middletown, Warren, and Rehoboth. State Fire Marshal responded to investigate cause of the fire.
