On Thursday February 29, 2024, students from The Met School in Newport visited the Little Compton Fire Department to hear an exhibition presentation by one of their classmates. Nathan, a student at The Met has been interning 2 days a week at the LCFD, learning about what we do so he can one day pursue a career in the fire service. As a part of the internship, Nathan put together a presentation to present to his fellow classmates and family. His focus for his presentation was Engine 2. A powerpoint presentation followed by taking his classmates around the engine giving them a first hand look at some of the equipment and tools stored on our Engine 2.
