Earlier today, Engine 2 and Squad 1 responded Mutual Aid to the Town of Tiverton for a Tractor Trailer Truck Roll-over at Main Rd and Bulgarmarsh Rd. The truck was carrying a load of stone, and rolled over as it approached the intersection. Firefighters Nickerson and Manley manned the a line as a precaution for potential diesel fuel ignition, while Chief Petrin operated and manned Squad 1. The incident is currently under investigation by TPD and RISP.
