Earlier this Morning, we responded to the area of 60 Long Highway for a motor vehicle accident, with injuries. Upon the arrival of LCPD to the scene, they communicated to dispatch that the occupant was extricated out of the car and the vehicle was smoking. Officer Farrar acted quickly and utilized the fire extinguisher from her cruiser to extinguish the small fire in the engine compartment. The Pt/driver suffered a medical emergency while driving and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
