| This morning we were fortunate to team up with Beach Manager Jim Farrell, to train on their newly aquired Surf Rescue boat. The boat is an aluminum hull inflatable with a 25HP jet drive outboard. This boat is capable of operating in 6 inches of water. This type of vessel is ideal for Little Compton’s very rocky shore line. The importance of working together with other departments and organizations in town is crucial to being a Community. LCFD takes every opportunity to train and better ourselves and our operations.
