Fire Protection Systems

All fire protection system plan reviews, rough-in inspections, and final tests are done by The Office of Fire Prevention.

All requests for inspections of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, for transfers of title or occupancy, should be made to this office by contacting us at (401) 635-2325.

Please keep in mind that inspections are normally scheduled Monday through Friday, as certified inspectors are available. Closing dates for transfers of title should not be set until you have received your inspection certificate for the property being sold.
