Mutual Aid to Tiverton for MVA - Car vs Fire Truck

On Monday May 8th, LCFD responded Mutual Aid to Rt 177 (Bulgarmarsh Rd) just west of Cornell St for a MVA - Car vs Fire Truck. Fortunately, the individuals involved had their seatbelts on during the crash. The pictures below show the significant damage to both vehicles involved. The driver of the sedan was transported to Rhode Island Hospital due to the mechanism of the accident, and complaint of injuries. The Firefighters who were in the Fire Engine were transported to Saint Anne's Hospital for evaluation, and released shortly after. Please remember to BUCKLE UP! Seat Belts save lives!!
