On Thursday 4/20/2023, the LCFD was dispatched to the area of 155 Colebrook Rd for a reported motor vehicle fire. Car 1 arrived on scene and established command, reporting a pickup truck was fully involved on the side of the road. The Vehicle occupant was out of the vehicle. Engine 2 and Tanker 1 arrived on scene and stretched a preconnected hose line from Engine 2 and began fire suppression. The LCPD temporarily shut down the roadway while fire crews continued to extinguish the fire. Flames from the vehicle had spread to a small area of brush alongside the roadway. Both the vehicle and brush fire were knocked down quickly and extinguished by fire personnel. Tow truck operators arrived on scene to clear the vehicle, and the road was reopened by PD. No injuries were reported.
